As a COVID sidehustle I started a jewellery brand called Sam Douchebak (Sam Showertub)

I already had the name with great thanks to Nienke, she came up with an artists name for secret projects inspired by my own name.

One COVID night I was reminded of my secret alias and ideas started popping into my head. I was lying awake for hours coming up with the general idea of a jewellery brand, and in the morning I started making 3D designs and renders in Rhino3D.

Silver hangers were being cast and matching necklaces ordered. Half of the hangers were gold plated.

I made product photographs of all the jewellery using a neat trick with a mirror and my laptop screen.

For the first silver necklaces I hired a local artist Julie Philipse to photograph them on a model. The gold necklaces are modeled by a friend and photgraphed by me.
